Wulik Reel
The Wulik Reel was inspired by the midnight sun above the Arctic circle, where I've spent a lot of time flyfishing the wild drainages of the Brooks Range.
The reel cage is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and the spool is polyetherimide plastic; chosen for its impact resistance, temperature range, and amber color. I CNC-machined all parts on a 3-axis Haas machine. The reel uses a simple friction drag sytem and is intended for trout dryfly fishing.
